Donation Terms

Thank you for supporting the Adam Brown Legacy Foundation. These terms apply to gifts made through our donation page at [https://give.adambrownfoundation.com]. By making a gift, you agree to them. We've kept them simple. If anything is unclear, please reach out.

1. Your Gift Is Voluntary

Every gift is a voluntary contribution that you choose to make. You are never required to give, and you choose the amount.

2. Currency

All gift amounts are in U.S. dollars (USD). If your card is issued outside the United States, your bank may apply its own conversion rates or fees.

3. One-Time and Monthly Gifts

One-time gifts (our “Give Once” form) are charged once, at the time you give.
Monthly gifts (our “Monthly” form) are charged right away and then on the same day each month until you cancel. If a month doesn't have that date (for example, the 31st), your gift may be charged on the last day of that month.

To cancel or change a monthly gift, email us at [email protected] with your name and the email address you used to give. Please allow a few business days for the change to take effect. Charges processed before we receive your request may not be refunded.

4. Refunds

We understand mistakes happen. If you gave the wrong amount, were charged twice, or see another error, email us within [REFUND WINDOW: 15 days] of the charge. We'll review every request in good faith, but refunds are given at the foundation's discretion. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, and your bank may take several business days to post them.

5. How Your Gift Is Used

Your gift supports our mission of helping people in addiction recovery, military families and veterans, and communities in need. To put donations where they can do the most good, the foundation keeps full discretion over how gifts are used and may redirect funds to other programs or needs that support our mission.

6. No Goods or Services in Exchange

Unless we clearly say otherwise in writing, you receive no goods or services in exchange for your gift.

7. Tax Information

Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your gift.

8. Your Responsibilities

When you give, you agree that:

The information you provide (name, email, billing details) is accurate and complete.
You are authorized to use the card or payment method you provide.
For monthly gifts, you authorize us to charge that payment method each month until you cancel.

9. Third-Party Payment Processors

Gifts are processed securely through our donation platform (GoHighLevel / Marketing OS) and its payment processor, Stripe. Your card details go directly to the processor and are never stored by the foundation. Those providers' own terms and privacy policies also apply to your payment.

10. Limitation of Liability

We work hard to keep our donation page accurate and running smoothly, but it is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, the foundation is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for problems caused by third-party services, internet outages, or events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any gift is limited to the amount of that gift.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date above. Changes apply to gifts made after the update is posted.
